I can feel my cervix if I put a little more than half of my finger inside. (I have long fingers) lol It seems to be almost the same when I'm aroused too. A while back when I was getting a mirena (birth control) fitted my doctor commented on how shallow it was she said "you're so small". 
I don't have any problems with it. It might be an advantage because tampons are so easy for me to use haha. I have found a guy that matches me more than well enough (in the bedroom) but I was just curious as to what is the usual depth and if there are any other girls like me?

Your cervix is "straight in". It can be shallow or deep naturally and can move in and out connected with arousal. There are adult videos of actual orgasms that show this happening. But your vagina is adaptable to who it is "hosting". Although the diagram shows the "fornix" (this is the posterior fornix) to be small and short, it can expand for a quite large penis and that's where it will naturally go, The anterior fornix above the cervix is short (2.5") and places the penis past the G-spot beside the bladder and will give you a pleasure sensation and a "gottapee" sensation at the same time. I am short and upward curved and end up in the anterior fornix.

If there aren't any negative health issues and if you are turned on by getting your cervix tapped during sex, then it's great.

Acceded from that, I'd think it would be far better to have a shallow cervix than a shallow mind.
