I think sex is sacred, and the only person I would ever discuss my sex life with is my partner, and maybe a doctor (if relevant / needed). To discuss something so sacred in a casual way, I feel, would cheapen the intimacy and shame my partner. I will never share details of my sex life or brag about it with anyone. It will be between me and my partner only.
If you are uncomfortable with this, you should let him know. But I'll say, if you are having a 'friends with benefits' kind of relationship, you are by definition treating sex pretty casually.
