I would say both , considering most girls want opposite of what they already have , most girls have the grass is greener syndrome in them , A girl can say she wants a nice guy , when she finally lands a nice guy she will get bored of him and decides she needs a bad boy instead vice versa , Why it’s best for us guys to be a little bit of both when it comes to us really liking a girl , Girl’s are just made that way , they need that drama in their lives to keep them on their toes , if a guy is too nice to her she will eventually get turned off if he is too bad for her she will eventually get turned off , so it’s best for us guys to balance both and make her feel like she has a challenge , I always been told I am a nice guy , but I always end up with girls that love my nice guy personality but then eventually they get bored of it so I let my asshole side come out of me just to keep her from making a dumb decision and straying , but if she still strays that’s my answer to kick her to the curb, I will play her games as long as she stays faithful to me , the second she betrays me it’s over , I been lied to and cheated on before to realize I don’t tolerate that shit and deserve better than that shit. If a girl can’t prioritize me like I do to her she is just wasting her time and money because I only give what I want to receive , if she wants to be selfish than I will be selfish as well , if she wants to treat me like shit I will treat her like shit as well , if the negativity doesn’t stop then I walk away , if I feel like a constant punching bag I walk away , I will communicate my feelings to her first and if nothing changes then I say good luck to you cuz I realized I don’t need a girl, I want a girl to value me like I value her, she wants a commitment then she better commit to me , Relationships are not easy but they also shouldn’t be that hard , when it becomes constant hard then that person isn’t meant for you , love only grows when 2 people remove selfishness for each other and sacrifice for each other and make each other their number 1 priority, when I don’t feel like a priority to her anymore I make it clear to her that she is preparing herself to be single again , because if she isn’t wearing my shoes like she expects me to wear hers she is in for a rude awakening

Women who get a lot of attention are pickier with who they sleep with, generally. They aren't desperate, because they know they have options. Girls with little attention will usually use sex in order to get attention in the first place, which is why the least desirable girls in high school are usually the first ones to start hooking up.

Some women don’t sleep around because they have self respect and prefer to have sex with someone they care for and want to be with as partner. Women who sleep around tend to be insecure and want attention. Men who sleep around a lot also look for some validation as well. I went through a phase where I slept around a lot, I realized it was empty, didn’t feel fulfilling. I have also slept with women who slept around a lot, in college or who cheated on their boyfriends or husbands, they did because I always felt their were insecure. At least as a guy I was able to pick up on that and knew I would be able to sleep with them.

There are many women who like to have a lot of sex, but usually with the same guy. I had a girlfriend who wanted to have sex every day, multiple times a day. But she didn’t want have multiple sex partners. My girlfriend’s roommate had a boyfriend and multiple sex partners (her boyfriend didn’t know about it). But she was also really insecure. Just to be clear, I think it’s absolutely ok for women to have multiple sex partners. All I am saying is that I have always seen it’s for emotional/validation reasons, not purely physical. I would even argue it’s the same thing for guys.
