It was an answer to a question about rape.

So even if you don't feel like having sex you are or should be required to have sex anyways. agree?

  • Agree, but I would give her permission to play elsewhere.

    • you are a shit person then.

    • Nope.. just negative minded people like yourself are.. Id be happy to hear that somebody turned you to hamburger for a sour comment.

  • What? No

  • Not justifying the man's behavior. I simply agree with the legal side of the statement.

Unless sex was forced onto the spouse while she was openly, vocally resistant, then it would not be considered rape on the legal side.

However, if I am not equally desired, then I dont want to have sex with the person either, so the whole rape and forcing sex topic is outside of my experience as a man.

If she ain't into it, neither am I. Talk about boring. Its essentially just assisted masturbation at that point. Lmfao

    • do you feel either has an "obligation" to sexually please their spouse even if they are not in the mood?

    • I dont think anybody has any obligation to anybody except their children. In a marriage, both people should regularly want to pleasure their partner, even if they aren't in the mood, and if that isn't happening, they both need to look into and discuss the validity of their partnership. But neither person is entitled to anything beyond the vows spoken as far as im concerned. If you are asking my personal perspective, I kind of think "owning" another person through legal writ is an archaic tradition that has lost its place in society. If the only thing keeping two people together is the consequences of divorce, then that must not be a very rewarding partnership for either person.

    • @adadnamedmike - what legal side of the statement? Rape is far more indepth than your blubbering and anything that falls into coerced, threatened, etc. can be labeled as rape and result in justified jail time.

  • I have sex with my husband to avoid an argument. He’s a dick to me and our kids when I don’t. I cry after.

    • Sounds like you might wanna consider ending it someday

  • While I do not think there are any law existing like that but if someone are to be married. Aren’t they are naturally required to fulfil their partner sexual desire? Unless their partner doesn’t mind if she or he can have sex with others instead.

    • What does “naturally required” mean?

  • Sexual activity inside of a private marriage is NOBODY'S business except for that married couple. And MUCH more attention needs to be paid toward making it HARDER to get MARRIED, so there will hopefully be fewer divorces.
(People need to become THOUROUGHLY known and familiar to each other before "tying the knot")

  • Whoever said that will enjoy being someone's squealing bitch in jail. Per 1993 martial rape has become nationally acknowledged in the US. And there is nowhere, not even in the Bible, saying it's permissible.

    • @KrakenAttackin whats your response to this mr rape apologist?

    • Seriously. KrakenAttackin's the sort that WILL get himself in jail from some of his posts. He shouldn't cry to mama when it happens.

    • I think this thread is indicative of why marriage rates are at 97 year lows. Women poised to have their husbands arrested and gloating about it on internet threads.

  • LOL. I was expecting to see MY post in here. I said something similar, that you cannot rape someone in marriage. In some countries, you can legally divorce a woman for refusing to fuck. But yes, I agree that there is no such thing as marital rape, because my marrying them you are consenting to having sex with them.

    • I wonder if you're the guy i just argued with in that question... either way you're both fucked in the head for thinking this way and probably ate too many paint chips. I hope no woman is ever so unfortunate as to fall for you and god help her if she ever refuses to have sex with you one day.

    • It was on another thread. Ouch, I'm hurt!

    • So if a girl refuses to have sex with you one day and you do then oh well you’ll just force yourself on her huh?

  • It probably depends on where he lives. I am guessing that he lives in Turkey.

    • Its a woman and im pretty sure she’s American

    • Well then I disagree with her. I don't know of any law in America where you have to have sex with your spouse.
