Do you believe in "bros before hoes"/"chicks before dicks"?

Do you believe in bros before hoes/chicks before dicks?
Both of these phrases mean that you generally prioritize your same-gender friends, over relationships with the opposite gender. Do you subscribe to this?
I don't have same-gender friends, OR I have no romantic/sexual desires to the opposite gender, OR neither

  • I believe in both of them. I rather have a close male friend than to get violated by a hoe and I rather have a woman sexually than have a man.

  • I've always hated that term.

And No I strongly don't believe in it.

  • Yeah totally with friends

  • I believe chicks before Dick and Lesbro before hoes. I stand by my friends weather they do wrong or right.

  • Absolutely I genuinely feel men and women are better off on their own and just be friends with benefits

  • I don’t think it matters after a certain age.

  • I did when I was younger but my so called friends have showed me that it's not that at all. Thanks friends!

  • Its pretty difficult to "follow the rule" as it does need to have context. A good example is when the different sex partner is toxic or not a good influence, and your friends of same sex warn you of the situation you yourself are not able to see due to your "love filter" to your partner, so then there comes the decision if you'd "chose your friends" and listen to their advice and potentially breaking your relationship up, or keep going out with thst girl/boy.
The rule means that you value more the opinion of your years long friends whom you trust over a person you are attracted to, but just met a couple of weeks ago. It does depend of the level of "crush" you have and the "links" with your friends, but it usually means so.

  • Never prioritize friends based on a characteristic beyond their control. New friends pop up out of nowhere, current friends silently fade into memories... No friend will ever ask you to choose between their friendship and that of another, no exceptions...

  • I admire the fact that stupid guys think you're a girl. LMAO

I really do admire you for pulling that off.

    • How do you know she is not? There are a lot of different kind of people on this site and not all of them have round wheels on their bus. Now, who are you in your other account that you can't own your statements but post as a sock puppet?
