Not something I've ever done (unless I count myself, I suppose; then I've done it quite a lot), but it's not exactly difficult, painful, or expensive. I don't think it's a particularly common request, as many men figure "she's not going to be as good at it as I am" (hardly an unreasonable thing to think, given how much practice a typical guy has), but it's an easy one to fulfill, and so long as her needs are being seen to as well, one I don't think most women would object to.
