I don't think feminism has anything to do with dominance (by the book at least). AFAIK feminism aims to pull feminines (women) to an equal level, not to dominate over the male. Again, long time has passed since the term was invented back then...

"Strong independent woman" smells a bit like the thing they call "MGTOW" (https://en. wikipedia. org/wiki/Men_Going_Their_Own_Way). But might also be used by women who failed to establish a family even though it was their goal (or are not blessed with physical cababilities, ie beauty etc) . Now they Justify themselves by saying they don't need a man in their life in the first place. I don't think the fact of not being "blessed" should be shamed or made fun of. Such women existed way in the past and they just lived in the society like others. Friends, family knew, it was sorta taboo, I guess. However justifying wrong decisions or not quite good looks is rather clumsy in my opinion. Like, not to offend anyone, but if I see someone with apparent obesity while yelling WE NEED NO MEN etc, is kinda... ridiculous. It's like, when last piece of cake was taken and latecomer kids try to convince other that the cake was not tasty in the first place and make you fat anyway... trying to put themselves in a better position.

Not really; I've never really been one for humiliation or degradation- on either side. I find it kind of sad that so much of what people think when they think of "female domination" is so... hostile. It can be loving and even gentle, too- and frankly, I think if it WAS thought of that way, more women would be willing to try it, and more men admit they liked the idea. Simply stepping back and letting someone else take control for a while can be very pleasurable.

I doubt that's much different between the sexes, though.
