  • We – my husband and I enjoy sex everyday without any break – even during my periods since our marriage, except about ten months during my pregnancy and child birth according to advice from our family doctor. I had taken out tampon beforehand. To avoid staining our sheets, we get creative and enjoy it in the shower together first time. It was known to me that having an orgasm is a great way to get relief from menstrual pain, and period fluid blood acts as an excellent natural lubricant, sex is more enjoyable. Hormones during period play some tricks to change libido and make it excellent. Being on top – our most loved position spoil my husband’s parts but he has no objection for that, traditional missionary is a great position during this time and it is a change too for him. I am on pill and so there is never risk of getting me pregnant and we enjoy that benefit. Having period sex mean having fun with your partner at the exact moment that you want to most I get more aroused easily because of hormonal activities and it is a great fun. Period sex is building a new form of intimacy, it is a magical thing. Though period shame is still real for a lot of people not knowing body mechanism and science, we are comfortable with it.
