It's not exactly true that anal is the most effective way to make a woman orgasm. Clitoral stimulation is the most effective way to make a woman orgasm.
However, simultaneous anal and clitoral stimulation is the most effective way to give a woman and mind blowing orgasm, much better than clitoral and vaginal stimulation combined. The anus is a very erogenous zone with many more nerve endings than the vagina.
In my experience, women who learn to tap into that have more (and better) orgasms.

By the way, there is research supporting this. Note the lowest purple dot in the chart below. Women who had anal sex during their last sexual encounter were far more likely to have achieved orgasm than any others.

Unfortunately, many never do because they get introduced to it by a guy who doesn't know what he's doing and he ends up hurting her and turning her off to anal for good, which is sad considering how pleasurable it can be.
