I have no strong preference for straight or curly hair, but the overwhelming majority of men will prefer a woman with long hair. Long hair is not only a feminine characteristic, but it's long been a sign of youth and health (which translates to "good fertility"), and all of men's beauty standards have always revolved around fertility.

I hate using Hollywood as an example for things, but in this case, it makes sense. It's been statistically established that when an actress cuts her hair short, her projects don't sell as well/see a ratings drop-off and her asking price drops.

A good example is the show Felicity. This show was a huge hit when it debuted in 1998 on the WB, and ratings for its first season were high. The main character, played by Keri Russell, had long, curly hair and everyone mentioned her beautiful hair in their reviews. At some point during the hiatus, Russell sent the producers a picture of herself in a very short wig as a joke, but they decided that a change of hairstyle might be fun for the show. They cut her hair, and the ratings tanked, and while other things were blamed, virtually everyone agreed that it was a huge mistake, and the network sent a memo to all showrunners on their network that haircut changes had to be approved going forward. An actress cutting off her hair became known as "The Felicity Effect" and the few actresses who cut their hair would definitely see their star power, ratings, and asking prices decrease.

Older women nearly always have short hair

Why is this? It's instinct and biology. Humans spent 500,000 years just trying to survive, and a girl having long hair was a sign that she was healthy, adequately nourished, and young and would likely be able to have children - a vital requirement to ongoing human survival. Girls who didn't get enough to eat couldn't grow long hair, and older women near the end of or past their fertility window tended to have thinner, less-healthy hair that couldn't be grown long (this is why women in their 50s and 60s almost universally have short hair cuts).

If you asked 10,000 men to describe what an attractive woman would look like to him, you can bet that 9,990 of them are going to have "long hair" in the description. That's no accident - it's evolution. Men are attracted to factors that are associated with high fertility: youth, symmetry, good health and good nutrition. Long hair is one of those obvious signs of youth, health, and nutrition, so it's almost universally desired by men.

It depends on the gal and how well wears a particular style.
A curly hairdo will look great on some.
Others are only nice in long, sleek styles.

It totally depends on the girl with her facial expressions are the roundness of her hair her face her eyes her chin everything works together I like both but I love girls curly hair I think it is so hot so sexy because it just looks fuller thicker
