Sexual Health My mom was almost 50 years old and she had a very vibrant sex life. She was able to find a much younger guy and she was able to satisfy him sexually. She even managed get pregnant from her. I don't think she ever showed such a performance in the previous years when she was with my dad !
What's your take on this? Is this person specific or people started to live longer so 40-50 is not old for those kind of things anymore?
Do you think a woman's sexual desire increases as she gets older?

I don't it's sexual desire as much as it is confidence. At that age most people are actually living their best years, both sexually and otherwise. They are experienced and most have realised that other's opinion doesn't matter nearly as much as we thought. They know what they like and how they like it. Feeling desired in that ages also seems to bring them confidence. It's the knowledge of knowing that they're rocking. They have their life to live and they are going to enjoy it.
It can be many possibilities. She could be going through Menopause because 50 is about when it starts
Or it could be she really enjoys sex with her new partner.
But I wouldn't worry about it to much because it's your mom's personal business not ours!

I think because when we're young sex is something we have access to in abundance. We can't very well jump on every opportunity that comes our way or we'd never get off our backs. But when we age and our options dwindle We appreciate them more
I am only 24, but as I have gotten older, I find it is stronger.
My mom and dad are still very much active in that area. They been together for almost 30 years.
As women age our testosterone increases which makes you more horny, so yes.
I think your drive is affected by the person your with. I certainly wasn’t as active with my long term husband as I am with my current partner.
Age doesn’t really affect libido in my situation, but peri menopause and the menopause can cause issues for some.
Even old people still have active sexual lives. And I mean people 20+ years older than me lol

I don’t think my sex drive has changed at all during my years. My sex life with my late husband had a lot to be desired and barely existed during good years but that was all on him before his impotency. Now, it’s finding a partner that is just as active/interested and personality and all the other things I want/need in a partner. So great for your mom that she’s found her match.
I have never seen her so happy when she was with my dad. She even changed her entire wardrobe and last summer I even saw her wearing thong bikini :)
Good for her. A relationship should always be where you get as much as you give. I’m not saying you weren’t created/born out of real love but as you age you really determine what’s more important and what makes you happy. It’s not the same was when you were in your twenties although I’m not saying that those married in their twenties won’t survive as they will but it’s work. Any relationship is work. If I had to do it again, would I marry my late husband again no, only for my children... would i stay with him like I did? No. I would leave at the moment the marriage changed to a roommate situation. Learn from your mom and be keenly aware of what makes you truly happy and you won’t go wrong in life! 😉
She is now getting fucked real good and that's why she looks so happy :) I mean yes agreed that when things got into a routine that's the point the marriage starts to go downhill.
Well not exactly. My theory is that when the sex life isn’t satisfying for whatever reason, the intimacy dwindles and with out intimacy (not just sexual) there’s not much else left. It’s all the different intimacies that define an intimate relationship or its just a friendship or roommate relationship

Pretty much. That and the many levels of intimacy go hand in hand. Without it, you’re just not a couple, just ordinary friends.
