Superb Opinion

  • As a young guy of 22, I had erectile problems, but found it was 'emotional', not hormonal, and as an older adult, still had the same problem. I am not certain if Viagra would have been helpful for me at 22, or even as a teen... since erectile dis function can be a problem at times for many men.

Important to understand the emotional component for men/boys that contribute to this kind of problem.

Most Helpful Guy

  • I don't know how to think about this because I'm not a doctor but I am guessing a doctor wouldn't prescribe it for a teenager and would recommend therapy because it's more than likely anxiety. Again not a doctor, nor do I play one online, but just a guess.

Most Helpful Girls

  • Probably anxiety issues and jerks off too much.

Guys out clubbing will often use it if they've been drinking and have pulled a girl rather than suffer whiskey dick.

    • I talked to a guy about it and he said the effects of a single viagra can last for a week

  • i work in healthcare, at that age it is hormonal he needs an endocrinologist not viagra

    • This is hypothetical

What Girls & Guys Said

  • Its not good or healthy for guys of any age to take viagra! If a guy has erectile disfunction, he needs to address the source of the problem which is arterial health.

  • Like if its the best way for him to be able to be hard

  • i dont get "if needed" i thought "consent of minor" is not considered consent. in contrast to principal p. c. in south park absurd script writing n not funny.

  • Only if he can't get it up by himself maybe. But in general better no viagra

  • I'm over 50 and diabetic and it's a last resort I've not needed yet. A teenager who says he needs it is statistically so unlikely that he'd rather be dead than admit it.

    • This is a hypothetical situation. Viagra is just a common treatment for erectile dysfunction so that's why I mentioned it. Should he seek treatment for his issue?

    • If he has ED as a teenager it's a symptom of a far bigger issue. Kidney function and heart problems. Yes, he should see a doctor. Preferably a cardiologist and/or nephrologist.

  • under doctor's supervision then it's ok

  • Nah. He will be ok as soon as he gets a more attractive girlfriend.

  • As long as he saw a physician and that is what he prescribed it is okay. If he was stealing them from his father I say no.

  • Why would it matter?

  • I think that's a doctor's decision along with a parental decision, depending on the age of the boy.

  • If the doctor checked him out and this is the only option, yes I'd be ok with it.

  • No way. Being a teenager you should have no problem getting an erection, if they do.. they should get medical attention.. if there is no choice... then maybe

  • If he gets an erection there's no need for Viagra.

  • No, its not meant to used by teenagers.

  • I'm actually not ok with viagra in general.

  • If there's a medical need

  • If a teenage boy has problem getting an erection he should first see a doctor as that is highly unusual and may depend on something rather dangerous.

If he's perfectly healthy his "problem" may be that he simply isn't turned on but too polite to say so.

  • Should do a testosterone test, and a physical to tind the source of the issue

  • They shouldn’t need it

    • Hypothetically if they had erectile dysfunction and needed some type of medical treatment should they be able to get it given their age?

    • If parents give approval for a 13 - 17 year old boy to have Viagra, (why would a teen age boy need an erection) then they should be responsible for the baby that is about to be made...

  • 1) doctors and patients- and parents of underage- have their rights.
    2) I would imagine teens not needing help, unless medically impositioned. Thus refer to number one.
