Do you think losing your virginity early is attractive or something to flex?

I personally don’t think it’s attractive or anything to flex or show off if you lost your virginity really early, especially as a girl, I don’t think it sounds attractive to a guy to hear that a girl had her first sexual experience at 13 or 14. It just sounds kinda slutty. I mean only horny older creepy guys would find it sexy to hear about that, but I’m sure it wouldn’t be attractive to a future partner to hear that. It sounds more attractive to say you lost it later & waited till you got a proper boyfriend doesn’t it?

I have a friend who’s really slutty & says she’s embarrassed about it, yet keeps going back to being a slut after every time she tells me she’ll stop sleeping with guys on the first date etc. A few weeks ago we were talking about our sex lives & she said to me ‘I can’t believe you only just had sex at 21, I’ve been fucking since I was 14’ & I thought does she really think she’s more superior than me cause she had sex at 14?

just to clear up a few misunderstandings: - I'm not a virgin, I don't know why some people have been replying with things like 'she's putting you down for being a virgin' etc - I clearly wrote that I just lost my virginity later than her, not that I'm a virgin. - I'm not trying to say I'm better or more superior than her for losing it later, but after she made me feel low about having lost it later, I started wandering where she got the idea that losing it early is something to show off.

  • Sex is something you can do, not something you must do. It's a personal decision, it's not right that society forces people to lose virginity early.

  • You're right, it sounds slutty.

  • Nah. Nobody really cares

  • It’s not something to flex. And I really don’t care.

  • Not really in my book. Maybe at the time but in hindsight I would say no.

  • No, it's not. STDs, unplanned pregnancies, and other complications often spoil the lives of youths who have this mindset. Youths who are virgins/abstinent gain freedom from such things and even gain enjoyment in life and in sex when they later decide to marry. If anything, the greater 'flex' lies in keeping one's virginity.

    • very true. the friend that said that to me actually has a 2 year old kid that she said was an accident & she just has such a messed up life as well. So I don't know what she's bragging about & how she can still try to make me feel weird for losing my virginity in my early 20's & not when I was 14 when her life has become a mess due to that mindset she has.

    • Care to back any of this statement up with any examples? I'm still waiting for whoever my girl is at 24, soon 25 and I've had to go through periods of depression, drug abuse and just feeling completely lost in my life the whole damn time. Only recently started trying to make a career out of my musical abilities and started working out and found a ton of fulfillment but still a ways off from truly getting there. Just curious to hear about these people who wait until however long into their life when they marry and then start having sex and gain huge enjoyment out of it. I mean, married couples who have done it beforehand I've seen also seem to have a ton of fulfillment.

    • @InventorofWarp look at the Kardashians; they're a perfect cautionary tale in this regard. I've even read something saying that Kylie has AIDS.

  • 14-18 are normal or the most common ages it has always seemed, It's not unusual and not unheard of for people to enter their 20s as virgins

  • I think it is more attractive to lose it early.

    • damm guess I'm like a ghost to you then, I still haven't lost mines @melisaaa

    • It seems so 😅

  • Yeah thats gross. I'm embarrassed for her.

  • Not at all

  • I don't like a high body count.

Makes me feel like I'm just 'another one' of those guys.

    • yeah I get that. But I wasn't really talking about a high body count, I'm more just asking whether people think it's something to be proud of if you had your first sexual experience at an earlier age rather than later.

  • Absolutely, it's hot when girls can comfortably talk about there past sexual experience

    • yeah, talking about your past sexual experience comfortably is obviously a good thing, but that wasn't really my question. My question is whether you would consider it attractive or something to show off if you lost your virginity early & if you think it's sexy when a girl had sex early

    • Well yes, girls that can say that aren't awkward, I prefer it

    • but that's the thing, I'm not talking about the part about whether a girl can say it or not, & I also wasn't talking about awkwardness or anything. I'm just asking whether people think it's attractive if a girl lost their virginity at an early age, not about what she says or what she can say. It had nothing to do about the talking or the being comfortable about talking about. Just the fact that they lost it early.

  • Neither

  • I have secure mine till date

  • Nope, quite the opposite

  • 12 years old

  • its persoanl choice.

  • Tbh I don't find it slutty neither do I find it a brag worthy thing its just low key kinda sad really that she was only 14 cause we all know it wasn't anything at just like 2 stiff planks of wood grinding on each other

  • Males who lose their virginity early is an indicator of genetical and biological superiority, they are the ones fit to reproduce and survive. Too bad i'm a genetic dead end loser.

    • this is nonsense. I didn't have sex until 17 and then went through 14 girls by 20 years old and most of them younger than me.

    • hey no I don't think that's true. I mean I've never really heard that. I don't think a guy has to lose their virginity early in order to be attractive or 'superior' to a girl

  • Gırls must keep virginity till they are married.

    • Its my opinion too ✌

    • Hardly.
