Do you think minors should be punished for engaging in sex with adults?

We know that teachers, coaches, etc. have been fired or locked up for sleeping with underaged kids, and rightfully so. But do you think minors who willfully have sex with adults should face some kind of punishment as well? Like the boys who did want to fuck their teachers, and the girls who sucked their teachers or neighbors with no problem at all?

The justice system is often willfully naive about young people, wanting us to believe that in situations like these the young person was influenced or 'coerced into doing something with an adult - which is sometimes true, but you still have plenty of cases where the young person knew what they were doing and wanted to.

So what do you think? Should minors face punishment for having willful and knowing sex with an adult? And if so, what would you suggest?

Not surprised a lot of females voted No because half of them probably have done something sexual with men substantially older than them and keep it a secret.

  • the term minor suggests in itself that they dont yet have the emotional tools to make such descissions so no its not down to the minor but the adult who should know already whats right and whats wrong

  • They can do whatever they want as long as they are safe

  • No a person knowingly having sex with a minor is there fault only unless if the minor lied about there age or some other way the adult legit had no idea what he was doing. But a girl simply saying fuck me i am minor the guy should of course just say no wtf and walk away. Otherwise he needs his ass in jail.

  • Only the ugly children should be punished :)

    • I am ugly?

    • @jackie2120 When did I call you ugly?

    • Never did. U said the ugly kids should be punish i sleepted with a teacher. so i wanted to see if I got punish in your world

    • Show All
  • That has got to be the dumbest question and if anyone thinks this kid should be punished is a moron. They didn't do anything illegal, if I'm underage and smash my teacher I better be getting nothing but high 5's all around

    • I agree!

  • Yes and no. Anyone 16 and up knows damn well what they are doing is wrong. But anyone under that age I think just needs parental involvement. Getting the court involved when it comes to the punishment of a minor is kinda limited regardless of age but the older they are I think some sort of consequence would be helpful to deter or at least make them think twice about it. Because a 16 year old initiating contact with an adult of that nature isn't unheard of.

    • I agree.

  • If they know what they were doing, yeah. Other than that, if the adult know the person was a minor, they should definitely get hardcore punishment.

    • My view exactly

  • Criminally? No.
should their parents discipline them? Probably.

lots of behaviours are poor but that doesn’t mean the court system is the best tool for dealing with them.

  • No, there shouldn't be punishment for the minor. It was the responsibility of the adult not to get involved with someone underage, even if the underage person is the one who tries to initiate a relationship. The only thing adding punishment of the minor to the legal system would do is stop kids from reporting abuse out of fear that they will be punished too. We already have so few victims coming forward, we don't need to make it even scarier and harder for the few who can

  • I chose no, because in most cases like 90% it's the older person pursuing and these are children we're talking about. There's a power imbalance. An adult is expected to be able to put a stop to it because they are older and (hopefully) more responsible if the young person is the one pursuing.
A young person might genuinely feel they are in love with the older person. A lot of it is about life experience and them still being so young. I'm not saying that they may not know what they're doing with the older person is sexual, but again life experience. If the adult knows it's wrong you're supposed to take the authority and say no.
I honestly wonder why you're even asking this question...

Sure, if a young person rapes the older person but that's an entirely different story and I've only heard of that happening a handful of time. It really doesn't happen everyday.

I have done stuff with older men but only when I was at the age I am now and they were 10-15 years older than me not 30 years older than me and me being 17, that's disgusting.

    • Okay, so one other way for me to explain it. I'm thinking in terms of my job, health care professionals, especially doctors and nurses, are expected not to engage in sexual contact because of the imbalance of power and the threat it could put on a patient's mental health. Even if a patient tries to make a sexual advance towards you, you're supposed to be the one to say no and assign them to a different doctor, nurse, etc.

  • The fact that you are even asking this question is disturbing in itself and if I knew you in person I would not hesitate to warn everyone to keep their children away from you because you clearly have sick intentions.

    • Yaaaaaawn.

    • I just want this person to know, that there are people all around that read stuff like "Raping Little Suzy", and don't even cringe, (and it's perfectly legal as it's text form, in here).. So she opens her eyes to what it means to be a person on the Internet.

    • Wait a minute, i just read the laws again, and they are very confusing, to be honest.. People have been arrested for this type of content all accross the world, and the law definitions are very unclear, sometimes people have been under arrest by some policemen/lawyers, and then some other ones said that's it's actually legal, and that the person cannot be punished.. I read some studies, that stuff like this can actaully help some people to release their urges into fiction, and then they are, of course, many anti-statements.. So people can't make their mind, and there are people arrested for writing it and then tons of people who do the exact same thing with zero consenquences.. So how are you on it, lawmakers, should this potentially beneficial degenerated sickfuckery be legal or not? (By the way, the site that the article is on is up and have been like for the past 2 decades..)

  • I don't know so much about punishing them as much as making it legal for them to make those decisions and then if someone forces then that person should be punished

I mean I realize that a woman's mind isn't maybe completely developed at 16 although I think most of them are but their body is prime in a lot of cases and sometimes they look old enough to make those decisions I just don't think that especially especially******especially a guy within three or four or five years of her age shouldn't just get punished because oh she was too young if she wanted it and I know there's the question of is mentally she can make that decision but I just can't see that guy being on a sex offender list the rest of his life

    • Totally agree.

  • Lmao

    Your update is funny

Don't punish the children they are equal to retards and animals, they are not capable of consenting

    Shame on those adults

  • Minors don't have as good judgement or knowledge on sex, relationships, manipulation tactics, and are all around more naive and less experienced to make a good call on who to let inside of their body.

    • Lol ironically almost every guy is saying that the girl needs to be punished. What about the man? Nothing? It's bullshit

  • Na. The adult should know better.

  • I really hate how people thee days act like sex with a 14 year old is the same as sex with a 4 year old. It's biology that defines pedophilia, not the law. Otherwise what constitutes a normal, consensual marriage in one location would suddenly become child abuse just from one international flight.

    • Oh really? So if she gets pregnant you should pay child support or go to jail? Isn't that too harsh?

  • No, adults are supposed to be the responsible ones. There may be situations where and adult is with someone who could pass for 21 but is really a bit younger than 16. In that case its a difficult to assign blame esp if the adult asks and you tell him you are well above the age of consent but teenagers have hormones swirling around wherever and often carry fake iDs letting them into places where the minimum age is supposed to be 21. In that case, esp. if its consensual, itls hard to blame anyone given what the consequences could be but I don't think there are many situations where you could blame it on a minor

  • If a minor engaged in sex with a adult of their own free will yes they should be punished but if a adult forced them to do it then no they shouldn't be punished.

  • of course. but not by law. by parents.

  • It's the adult responsability.
