My friend (who is 19) bought herself one recently. Her mother found it and threw it away. My friend said, "I can't blame her. If I was a mom I'd throw my child's vibrator away, too." So, it got me thinking what others think about stuff like that.
My parent didn't buy me one, but I think parents should.

she's 19.. Mom has no right to do that to an adult offspring.. No i would not do that to my child. And i would rather my daughter used toys than go out and get pregnant at a young age.. If i had a daughter that is. And yes im one of those unpopular people that would buy one for her if she asked me to.

It is difficult question. We don't have kid for the moment but question inspired me to discuss it with wife. She is of the opinion that first parents should carefully their daughter and if they find her sexually active (alone) they should get a toy buy for her just to keep her safe from unwanted sex adventure.

No. You will always get the wrong one. All I ended up doing is buying the batteries. girlfriend doesn't need them it just plugs in the walk to recharge..

No, it's not the parents responsibility to buy it and I would find that rather embarrassing ! If anything should be the kid itself. I would never want to buy it for my child or be given one as a kid
