Do you think that "hot" people don't put in as much effort in the bedroom because they don't really "need" to?

So I have a friend that hooked up with a really hot firefighter. She said that even though he was hot, the sex was just "meh" even though he didn't seem to think of it that way though. She said that he seemed like one of those guys that's had a lot of sex and has never had to try because he's so good looking.
So, do you think there is some truth to this? Maybe they think you're lucky enough to have landed them so they don't work it.
