I'm inclined to think it's better without. But let's consider:
The world before modern hardcore porn had a lot more brothels, whorehouses, and strip clubs around, more mistresses and adultery, higher rates of rape, and seemingly more bastard children being born
With modern porn, we see porn addiction becoming a problem, more breakups and divorces over porn, increased impotence for 20s males, a warped sense of what normal, healthy sexuality is like, emphasis on performance and technique over love and intimacy, and increased perversions like pedophilia arising from the fact that almost nothing is taboo anymore (my own speculation).
There may in fact be artistic, cultural and sociological value in depictions of healthy, loving sexuality, which could benefit couples as well. But there is almost nothing like this being produced today.
I think its better with porn. It helps you get a sexual release without risking stds or pregnancy. It's also good for those who struggle to attract the opposite sex.
It be better without it. A couple of states have declared " porn addiction" state of emergency. I forgot which ones it was but i think it waa mid western states. I think if people didn't have porn they'd actally have to work on themselves since science says only the unhappy watch it. And it spreads fetishes which are mental disorders. And those arguing rape would be higher without it are enablers raping people means you aren't mentally healthy and should get psychological help not engage in porn to sedate the problem
Porn is a good thing, I don't know why people have such a problem with it. If you don't like it, don't look at it or watch it.

I think getting into porn is what starts that kind of stress. I don't think sexual frustration would exist in people who've never see it.

I can see both sides of the argument. There are fuck up sexually frustrated guys who probably need it when they can't get laid and that might prevent rape and sexual assault. But for a lot of men porn can be damaging in the way it affects the brain and sex drive. It has been proven to cause ED in young men because after a while they become desensitized and find it hard to get it up with a real woman. Unless you're completely hopeless with women a man should avoid porn and go after real girls.
Porn has been around way before tvs, VHS or the internet. Half the paintings at the MET are pornographic and most of the roman status are nude.
Porn is garbage. But let people discover its garbage for themselves. Free will.

Definitely better without the whole market of pornography. People wouldn't take pictures of people against their will to sell as porn and people wouldn't have the option of selling their bodies into this industry
People would still do that, if anything it would increase because seeing naked people would be considered "taboo" and those who are used to porn would do a lot just to see. Porn is never going away. Nor should someone tell another person what they can or cannot do with their bodies. Porn is legal for a reason.

I don't think porn is bad, as long as people know that it's not reality and still have healthy relationships.
