Didn't notice your question before now. What's associated with sleeping around a lot in women: 1. poor relationship skills, 2. unable to stay loyal or bond with 1 guy, 3. Too self-centered. All of these are bad in a serious relationship. Also after spending many years giving guys she barely knows or isn't that into everything she has physically, when she decides to "settle down" she'll often try to put limits or make the guy who has more to offer than those other guys jump through hoops to get what she already gave away. Two responses to that... 1.) She may have changed but it's about trust too. Us guys know there's tons of women out there who outright lie and say they're loyal while they're actually with other dudes. Then you come along and say, "trust me, I've changed". Trust isn't built instantly but takes time. So she's in this pickle where she has higher standards but the guy has no way of knowing if it's real or fake. Of course the more true she is to her stated standards the faster he will be able to trust her because there won't be indications/signs that she's lying. 2.) Hypocrisy - man body count vs. woman's body count: Women don't like to hear it but it's not the same thing because most women don't care what a man's body count is and will flock to a guy with a count of 10k and not think twice about it as long as he has everything she wants. Guys looking for serious usually don't think the same way. Partly this could be because a guy has more to lose typically. If you're with a woman who cheats & gets pregnant by another guy but tricks you into thinking it's your kid you're on the hook for child support. That doesn't happen to women since men don't get pregnant. A woman's lies can cost a guy a LOT of money. Same with divorces. So a guy has a lot of reasons to make sure he's getting with the woman least likely to play games on him.

It's like car mileage... if I say a car has 100k miles on it that means more if it's a 1 year old car than if it's a 10 year old car. If someone goes to a new car lot to buy a car and it even has 10 miles on it that would raise eyebrows and he'd probably get the car next to it that only has 0.5. Even tho the cars are 100% identical. Likewise even if a woman is older if she has a lower body count it could matter to the guy she wants. Depends on the guy. A recent poll found that 44% of men and women think a body count should be 5 or less for a "lady". Another 18% say 5-10. 20% say 10-20. 20% say 20+. But like I said, it's about the specific guy you want. The women who brag about having 100-200+ partners are reducing the number of guys who will take them seriously by like 90% in my opinion.
