In the life as general, I believe it's necessary an equilibry, with the women having a important voice in the relationship, and the man having the final word.

Typically, not always, people, men or women, like to be submissive in the bedroom if they have huge responsibilities outside the bedroom. For example, a crown prosecutor, very stressful job. He comes home and he wants to be told what to do and when he is allowed to... in bed.
