Someone actually did that one time. I don't know what he was thinking because we never spoke about anything other than business...

To sum up, this guy and I went through a startup training together a while back then started out little companies... A year later he was about to sell his first company for a million dollars and called to ask me to be his +1 at the little dinner meeting where the papers were being signed because he was nervous about being at the very fancy venue (and he knew I didn't get rattled by fancy stuff). Afterwards, he offered to drive me home... and out of the blue he propositioned me. We were on the highway, but I had him pull over and walked the five miles home. Never saw or spoke to him again.

Whatever his thought process was -- and personally I presumed that he was perhaps just on cloud nine from selling the company and made that big mental leap to sex -- because it was out of the blue... and we'd had no prior conversations about anything even remotely beyond the scope of paperwork and angel investors... I'd never have considered it appropriate. For me it's always been "work is work" and "play is play."

No, I wouldn’t appreciate it at all. I’d think that what he said is pretty disgusting. Lust is just using a person for your own benefit. It’s selfish. When you love someone, you move past that. I personally don’t care if someone is just sexually attracted to me. It means nothing. It’s just a surface level of attraction that all animals experience. Sex means nothing to me if it doesn’t come from a place of love and appreciation. Sex is meaningless without love. There is literally no point in having sex if you don’t love the person. It’s like peeing or taking a shit. And it’s also very hard for me to be sexually attracted to someone which I don’t love. Unless he is really REALLY hot. But even if he was that hot, I wouldn’t act on my attraction if I don’t love him.
