not a fetish as such, just likes legs, after all he is a man.
as for still looking when you have tights on, they just make your legs look good and have a sheen on them. same as a lot of men like women in Yoga pants or running leggings.0 0 0 0

Apparently, you have never heard of the old porn magazine "Leg Show".
From Wikipedia:
Leg Show was an adult fetish magazine published in the United States which specialized in photographs of women in nylons, corsets, pantyhose, stockings and high heels. The magazine features pinup style photographs and articles geared towards dominant women. The magazine achieved great success under editor Dian Hanson during the 1990s. - Opinion Owner+1 y
@abc3643
You guys on this site are just so easy. lol It's like taking candy from a baby.
Since when did guys liking women's legs become abnormal? Most people think that liking pretty women's feet is abnormal, so even though they are wrong, I'm OK with them calling it a foot fetish.
But now legs are abnormal as feet? So where does it end? Are all guys abnormal on this site?
I know that 90 % of the straight guys on this site would say they don't feel abnormal for liking women's legs, boobs or ass. - abc3643+1 y
Liking women's legs isn't abnormal, but having it be the primary fixation of sexual attraction is what a fetish is about. That's basically what definition #1 says in your included image.
However, for something like a fetish, you need a better, more clinical, definition. For that, you go to DSM-5. ( DSM = "Diagnostic and Statistical Manual" )

I forgot to give the full name of DSM-5:

@abc3643 Don't give me your clinical bullshit. Just read this question. "He looks at my legs a lot. Even when I'm wearing tights, he still looks at them. Does he have a leg fetish?" Should this guy go see a shrink? lol And based on that little bit of information given by the asker, what makes you think that this is his primary attraction? Does he not like her boobs, also? I have no idea. But be honest with me, abc, how many questions on this site have involved a "leg fetish?" I've been here a few years and this the first for me. And how many foot fetish questions have you seen? 4? 40? 400? 4000?
- Opinion Owner+1 y
LOL.
- abc3643+1 y
I'm not giving you any bullshit.
And I am not saying the guy has a leg fetish.
I am disagreeing with your assertion that "There's no such thing as a leg fetish."
Why am I disagreeing with it?
1. The evidence that you provided of the definition of a fetish.
2. The evidence I provided bolsters your evidence that a fetish can include a non-sexual body part such as legs.
Ergo, thusly, there IS such a thing as a leg fetish.
That's not bullshit.
That's logic. Feel free to download and study this free classic textbook on the subject.

@abc3643 Agalmatophilia is the attraction to inanimate objects. ... Abasiophiliacs are into leg braces or other orthopedic appliances. ... Tripsolagniacs are aroused by having their hair shampooed. ... Chelonaphilia means you have a thing for turtles. Spectrophiliacs are riled up by ghosts Katoptronophilia is a fetish for mirrors Now if her boyfriend kept looking at her turtle, then I'd have concerns for her. But I'm pegging this guy as just being a red-blooded guy who likes her legs. She should be happy about that. But I'm sure he is fixated on other parts of her as well. I just answered a question that was asked by a very smart guy. I was very impressed, because that is so rare on this site. It was about where your eyes go first. Of course that varies from person to person, but I just glanced at the pic for 1 second, and I told him where the photographer wanted your eyes to go first. He agreed. As for our argument... you are right and I am wrong. You win. Having said that, I do find it rather strange when someone on this site feels the need to encroach on another person's opinion, and desperately try to prove them wrong for having their own opinion.

Just my two cents. I think you went into details and concetrated on “what is the fetish”.
Actually, wikipedia has a description of such thing:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leg_fetishism
But I had examples in my life where a person mixes the terms wrong. We need to accept that feet fetish is more popular. And I have also seen examples where a foot is a center object, but person uses a generic “too broad” term “leg”.
So all comes down to some small mistakes, personal preferences. For example, foot fetishism is one of the most recognizable fetishes, which for me is not a taboo. Social media and onlyfans is making it more socially aceeptable, girls start to explore it more willingly. Which gives me hope, that people who like feet will not call it leg fetish.
But apparently such thing does exist, and least someone finds it as a catagory. I’m ok with that. - Opinion Owner+1 y
Yes, my entire post was focused on the definition of a fetish. But I didn't do that to criticize the asker and her question. My goal is to let her know that her boyfriend is quite normal. And I'm not implying that people with fetishes are not normal, but in order for it to be a fetish it can't be a mainstream thing they're attracted to. Liking legs, butts and boobs are about as mainstream as it gets.
- cilimanjaro+1 y
Let’s play a game, in a game of compliments, which of them sounds weird, if it’s told loud (if it’s easier, imagine yourself as a recipient): Amazing butt, superb titties, outstanding legs Cute feet Expressive eyebrows, Sexy jaw elegant ears Well shaped nose. I would say all are compliments. But I believe that some might have some strange stigma around. Like, it’s normal to compliment butt, though it’s not often we notice eyebrows (of course it would be immediately noticeable if they are shaved off)
- Opinion Owner+1 y
The last four would be equally weird to me.
- cilimanjaro+1 y
If a person would sexualize these body parts, would you call it a fetish?
- Opinion Owner+1 y
Yes. I saw the link from Wikipedia you sent that talked about the leg fetish. Now I'm going to paste Wikipedia's definition of a fetish. a sexual attraction to objects or body parts of lesser sexual importance (or none at all) such as feet, toes or certain types of clothing This is why I have to take Wikipedia with a grain of salt. Are legs now are not important body part? The Oxford dictionary's definition of a fetish is completely different. It focuses on a sexual desire for something that's abnormal or at least not mainstream. So an answer to your question, yes.
- cilimanjaro+1 y
I would lean to the Oxford’s definition a bit more. After today it’s clear to me, that a question of “what is the fetish” is ambiguous. That’s why so many are asking about it and consequently there are so many different opinions
- Opinion Owner+1 y
Exactly. Last week a girl on here said she's only given blowjobs so she was wondering if she is still a virgin. I just told her to that according to the Oxford dictionary she absolutely was still a virgin. But I warned her that she'd be getting about 30 different definitions on this site so just pick the one you like best.
