Guys, are self harm scars turn off?

I'm just wondering since I have lots of them. I do have sex but only with old "creep" stereotype strangers (the guys who look rapey and act like they could be that). What do you younger guys think about scars? (when i mean younger guys I mean like teens and twenties).

I have them, and my boyfriend finds me beautiful nonetheless.
He says they are the proof of the problems I overcame and that it's something for which he respects me.

As someone already said, what worries me is that you go with old, creeps types.
