im somewhat hairy, but not as much as my older brother... I think he received the hairy gene. since I looked up to him I wanted to get hairy like him.
im not self conscious of mine, I like a little hair at the collar actually.
My brother told me he used to hide his, now that he’s older he doesn’t care... he’ll wear tanks hiking with me now, etc.

Yes, I'm quite hairy and I always feel very self-conscious about it. Mainly because I'm 19 and most guys my age are quite a bit smoother, plus my girlfriend comes from Italy and it's very unusual for men there not to be shaved. She's fine with it, but I always feel slightly unsure about it.

I'm hairy only from the waistband to the knees and head / face. For the rest of the four hairs in the armpits that I find I had them at 34, the hair on the chest is still missing today. This is quite common among the males in my family, on both sides.

Very! I trim/shave but only during free time/vacation. See no reason to fix myself every day as most will never notice or care during week days.
