It wasn't German but I went to a steam room/sauna place with my mum in the Netherlands once. We hadn't realised you had to be naked before we went in so felt a bit uncomfortable from the start once we realised that but since we were there we thought we might as well enjoy go in and enjoy it. Initially it was fine as it was pretty quiet was just us and a another lady there but later on a man came in as well. Spent most of the rest of the time moving between rooms to avoid being in the same room as him. An activity he also seemed to do as whenever one of us entered a room the other left fairly promptly. So in conclusion was bit awkward and harder to relax. I think was made weirder for me as I was only just 17 at the time.

yeah at a holiday resort - there was so much tourists i guess that's why they had such a thing because normally it doesn't take place in Turkish culture

Where I live sauna’s are most of the time coed. Some have one weekday where only ladies are allowed to cover for ladies that don’t want to be seen by men. Other then that it’s mixed. Works fine here w/o incidents. The only incidents we have are the tourists from other countries that are not used to it and yell at us that we’re perverts. Trust me, it’s no use, we still don’t believe that.
The experience would be ruined by my fear of getting a boner

I just don't see the appeal of it and have no real desire in visiting one. And if I go to one then because I wanna go to the sauna, not because girls and guys wash together.
