If it makes you feel any better, I stuck my socks in the fridge a few days ago because I was half asleep and I fell asleep in my jeans the night before so I thought it was water bottle I was reaching for in the ass pocket of my pants to stick in there. My Dad was a Golden Gloves champion at one time. The first time I got punched in the face I had no idea how to defend against it. Dad taught me how to box, then taught me how to street fight. They are two different methods of fighting. I wasn't that aware of how different until I had to register my hands as deadly weapons.

@wowwgirl I guess I wasn't counting my sparring when I answered this. We used get medieval, literally, and put on full suits of armor and sword fight for charity. Pugilism was allowed, shield bashes to the head and all that.
