I liked a couple of her videos.” The dad was like “son don’t do that. You’re supposed to shop for a new outfit and then go for her best friend.” Its sad how many folks I know that have given this advice to others 😂

But I can’t even front, I’ve had my fair share of friends, cousins, brothers. I rarely do it as a revenge thing. I just simply liked them before I liked him. And now that we’re over 🤷‍♀️ Fair game right? Wrong. I always made this odd pact with my exes that we wouldn’t date nor sleep with eachothers friends/fam. I mean he still did. Suffice to say, I have not directly targeted the friend of my ex. Even at my lowest moral state, even I thought that was off limits. I've also never been approached by the friend of an ex for a hookup or more; I had a fling who talked about me a lot to her friend, and after the fling got into a relationship, her friend asked if it was okay to pursue me and the former fling didn't care. I thought it was slightly awkward but only briefly before I was distracted by pelvic sorcery, as most young men are predisposed to do.

I've even gone so far as avoiding relationship or intimate moments with women who've been with my friends, brothers, enemies, etc. The criteria for a woman to have avoided being disappointed by me was long indeed. I just couldn't get over the mental image of being tunnel-buddies with someone I actively knew or worse, actively disliked.

Thankfully, the girl that I liked, won the bet. After our breakup, her friend approached me. Said she liked me before the previous relationship. That they had a bet, her friend won, etc.
I politely declined the offer.
