Have you ever had sex with a sleeping baby in the room?

I just remembered mentioning a while ago that my husband and I had sex with our kids in bassinets by the bed while they were sleeping and I seem to remember getting tons of downvotes for that. Lol. I’m not even sure why. They were tiny, like 6 months or younger and we didn’t even wake them up. Lol.

Have you ever done this? Any idea why I got so much hate when the babies were too young and too asleep to have any awareness?

Just to clarify, I could have formed that sentence better. Have you ever had sex with your significant other while the baby happened to be asleep in a bassinet in the same room?

  • Ex-wife : We had it on a regular basis with the little ones in the room, they were asleep except once when our 2nd was 7 months old, she woke up and started laughing while looking at us... well then it was feeding time.

    friends with benefits : She had an 8 month old with her ex. She has her needs and a babysitter is expensive, so it definitely happened while her baby slept on the crib.

  • I haven't had a kid yet. But I’d do it but i’d keep quiet or else whimper directly in his ear. Now if its a toddler of like 2+ Years old, then i’d do it in a separate room because theyre nosey af lol.   • It’s totally normal and actually what a more responsible set if parents would do. I remember hearing about a girl in her 20’s moving in with a boyfriend in his late 40’s who has only ever been a player. Never a father and mostly selfish. The 20 something however had a 1 year old from her ex husband. The boyfriend demanded that the 1 year old’s crib be moved from the bedroom into the closet! Absolutely insane!

    The child is sleeping. The child is in a crib and wouldn’t even care or notice. It’s responsible because the parents can still be there to help if the child has an issue in the middle of the night vs stuffing the child away during sex simply for selfish reasons. Seems to me mom and dad can still have some amazing middle of the night sex with a young child in the room sleeping without issue and without it being inappropriate.

    • That is quite risky. 😬 I try not to judge. My 4 year old came running downstairs screaming due to a nightmare. My husband scooped him up (still naked) and comforted him and put him back to bed. At age 4 he did not think it was strange his dad was naked. Lol But he did not see us in the act thankfully.
