  • The pull out method is not birth control. If you use it, expect to get pregnant.

    You always hear stories of couples using it for years without getting pregnant. There might be people answering this question who say that. Just because someone gets by with it doesn't make it safe.

    You'd be surprised how many people fall out of airplanes and survive. That doesn't mean it's a good idea to jump out of an airplane without a parachute. If you use the pull out method and nothing else, you should ASSUME you will get pregnant.

  • Yeah two of my girls who are friends have gotten pregnant from the pull out method. One in highschool and one during college. I never gotten a girl pregnant with the pull out method but I usually wear a condom or she is using some form of birth control.

  • This is like the 2nd or 3rd question I have now seen regarding pregnancy and the pull-out method, makes me think someone is secretly trying or hoping to fall pregnant and the guy is trying to avoid getting the girl pregnant.

  • Yeah, my parents had all of us using that oh so effective method. There's 2 years between each of us though, so I suppose it's mildly effective.
