    • @Daniela1982 I do not defend myself in this — I was so mad to lose my virginity that it never occurred to me to value it until long after I discovered it was not in my keeping anymore. As to why she agreed to have sex with me before we were married, I can only guess that she knew we would marry. I certainly had no desire to go anywhere else. Maybe she thought she would have to in order to keep me – weak defense that it is, I do not recall having done so (although, truth be told, it has been over 25 years). Maybe she just wanted to find out what all the hoopla was about. I am sorry, D... it is hard for me to think about her, gone these nine years. She’s with God, now, she was too good for me...
