You have to take MOST of what you HEAR with a 'grain of salt" Viagra does nothing more than than increase blood flow throughout the body. Like any medication, if you use it to excess, the effectiveness lessens, i. e. when I started taking it, my penis stayed like a 'rock' for 45 minutes to an hour and I was in erection "heaven". @Bricealan In very rare cases you can build up somewhat of a tolerance but never a complete tolerance for the dosage you're prescribed. It is considered a "maintenance" medication. My dad's been taking it 3 times a day for 22 years, for PAH and it is still just as effective.
