I feel the same way. I don't think it's morally correct to do physical things to a child unless it's absolutely necessary. I remember my parents taking my brother to the doctor when he was young because he had issues with his foreskin being too tight I think so they thought about doing the same thing, but there were other ways to counter that which didn't include mutilating him.
That's phimosis, where the foreskin is too tight to pull back. In most cases, just stretching the foreskin out during showers gets rid of the problem overtime. I used to have something like it too, but it went away naturally.

Well, one of my favorite mottos has long been "Put your best body part first!".
Before I restored my foreskin, I would use generous amounts of lube and stimulate the glans and inner foreskin, or if I didn't use lube I'd concentrate on the just the remaining inner foreskin (between the scar line and the glans) because the glans would get raw if rubbed directly without lube.
