  • Depends on how minor, only if they ask and never going all that deep.
    (specially because the deep stuff is fairly personal, individualized.)

    First thing to talk about is safety and boundaries, but if they kid isn't sexual you don't even need to address sex to talk about that, play is more than enough to teach those lessons.

    Second is the basic biology of stuff, no need to go all groomer and teach the kid "how to have sex right", just literally basic biology in the most serious ascetic way possible.

    Lastly it's demystifying sexuality, explaining it's all in their head, just to drive home the point that "you are in control and you are responsible for yourself."

    Technically the first and third part are the jobs of the parents, and ideally should be done only by the parents.

    But I've been inquired of all three since I myself was a little kid, fortunately as a massive nerd, I could rise to the occasion and warn the best I could.

    • Having phone sex? Not at all. All of this can and should be as dry, cold and rational as possible. And ideally not through text unless you are dealing with a massive nerd. Think the first thing, which should ideally avoid the subject of sex completely. It's not possible to inform a kid who doesn't understand boundaries what boundaries are through text. It's like teaching a kid to speak through text. You need to teach the kid by overseeing how the kid independently interact with other people. "You gonna be grounded because you hit your friend" that's how you teach boundaries to a kid who has no notion of it.

  • HELL no! Even if the minor is attracted to me and shows interest, I'll politely decline and tell them plain and simple that they're too young for me and I'm too old for them for us to be considered "a thing".

  • I feel helpful because I'm helping them make safe choices that they will not regret as time goes by.

    There's no time to feel bashful because minors have showed time and time again that they do engage in sexual activities (teenage pregnancy) despite being told not to have sex. Not to mention having sexually transmitted diseases and infections.

    If they can not be stopped then I might as well help them protect themselves because I genuinely care.

    • As a moderator, my authority is restricted to freezing their account. It then cannot be used unless and until it is unforzen by Admin. As an Admin, I cannot see DM's except those sent to me, so I nver know if someone is being inappropriate with a minor. However, if that is brought to my attention, I will check it out and respond accordingly.

And even then it should be like birds and bees talk maybe to mentor or give them advice about safe sex but other than that what’s the reason to? Unless you’re like a teacher and the kids are at that age where you gotta teach sex ed like 6th grade.

  • Well I make that judgement based on their age and who really should be educating them about the stuff. I don't go around telling 5 year olds about sex for example.

    • Well, I don't use the phone for much more than a few phone calls and to check the weather. I rarely ever have it on more than 5:00 a day!! So, I'm not even into texting, let alone sexting! I only just found out 3 weeks ago that I can 'text" via e-mails! At least, according to my chiropractor. I sent an e-mail, he claimed it was a text! Oh! News to me!! I've only sent out 3 dick-pics via e-mail in the past 23 years and those were to grown women that specifically asked for one.

    • People should not be sexting with kids your age. It's wrong and illegal. They can and should go to jail for it. Sexting is when people talk about the sex acts that they would like to do with you.
