How often do men think of sex?

There's a rumor that men think about sex all the time. I wonder how often though. And if it's more common in single men (thinking about all the hot women they see during the course of the day, or the porn they watched) compared to those who are in a relationship (can't wait to get home to bone their wife/girlfriend, or can't stop thinking about how hot the sex was the last time).

For me it's probably everyday depending in the women I see but it's not the first thing I think about when I see a women

Honestly... it's not as often as you think. When you aren't doing anything maybe, but most of the time we are thinking about how the car seemed too close to the curb, or how someone in this show we 're watching is blah blah... I guess when you are attracted to someone nearby it's definitely on your mind, but personally I don't think about 'sex' I think about giving pleasure. Making them squirm up one wall, across the ceiling and down the other.. and such.
Honestly I think both genders think of sex, how often probably differs among the more outgoing or not. I think of sex often, I have a fiancee and a son, when I was younger I thought more of hanging out and who I wanted to see during that day.. sex was only an occasional thought.
I'm glad you identified it as a rumour, because that's what it is. :P I bet we think of sex no more or less than women on average.

I'm not a guy but probably a couple times a day between work, video games and scratching their balls.
I agree with you. As a male we think about it when we are bored. Like when we play video game or doing nothing. The only other two times we think about it when we flirt with a girl or when we are horny.
Depends on guy. I can think about sex for 2/3 of day or don't think about it for days so yeah... There is no simple pattern.
i am 52 and think of women every day, i been this way since i was young. the difference is now, I wish I was with a Hot woman but most would be only out there for my pocket book. To me it is not about sex it is just about having a woman to hold and love and not feel alone all the time.
As a romantic I would say that I just love to be with my Lady making sure she has happy memories of our time together to the best of my ability When we have sex we make sure that both parties enjoy
It's. A rumour. Men are Human. They have job, have to earn, have more responsibilities. Thinking about sex ( if the guy is in a relationship) will ping her bae and have sex simple. A' single' guy may occasionally think of many woman, be it workplace or mutual friends , parties etc, but not all the time duh! May be few minutes in 5-6 hours lol
I agree with the responsibility part lol... Like who has time to just entertain their thoughts, whatever it may be - sex or otherwise, when they got big people responsibilities daily? Smh... So like actually thinking of sexual relaxed stuff period? Once or twice a week honestly for a few mins each at best!

I wasn't agreeing with the more part, just that there are responsibilities and stuff that need to get done during the day and night.

I guess when I feel like it, but most the time I'm thinking about political issues, my job (very fun), or urban exploring. There is a girl a like in high school right now and sex isn't even my priority. I'm very spontaneous, so some days I go home and sleep and others I grab a flash light and rubber boots and drive an hour out looking for caves on the coast after school. These are the things I prioratize over.
Sex takes a lot of work to get to, and puts you in a limiting position where your dedicated to someone you may only like for their vagina. That doesn't sound very fun to me, if my current relationship allowed for it then why not (have only dated 3 people). If she says no, well I could care less. People over hype sex way too much.

I think it changes a lot when you enter a relationship. I've never had sex before, but I have a boyfriend that I love very much, and I think often of having sex with him, even if that's not what I wanna do now.

I don't think it is about how often either men or women think about sex. Some people will think about it more often than others due to several factors. Hormone levels, how long it has been since the last time they had sex or how high their sex drive is in general. There are times I'll smell someone's shampoo and it will make me think of a previous encounter. Personally I would say it varies from day to day. Some days I'll constantly be thinking about sex, others I won't think about it at all. What about yourself? Are you any different?
Think about? It pops up every now and then. Want sex? Depends on mood and what I'm doing. Men are very visual, so whatever we see, we think about. Like the picture you posted makes me think they're going to have sex in the park, but I'm not masterbating to it as I write this or even thinking about doing it today. I have many activities I do in my day to day that do not involve sex. I mostly think about getting back in the military, my future working for a prison, how my friends are doing, and what needs fixing- or what would be cool to make/craft. Sometimes my exes daughter comes to mind because I miss her and miss being a father.
In conclusion, all men do not think about sex all the time.
