You'll really need to have a conversation about this with him - what are his expectations at this stage in your relationship, what are your expectations? What can each of you provide to the other?

So like, my partner almost always has sex on her mind, but we're working on making sure we're more aligned with our needs because sometimes, honestly, even though I'd want to be inside her, strengthening our connection to each other, sometimes I'm just worn out and my mind is a billion other places.

Talk with your man, and see what you're looking at for the future. And who knows- you might even become the one who really wants it, and he's burnt out :D

A lot depends on how your relationship is with him and how old both of you are. Is he a virgin also? Talk with him about it.. it is ok to talk about sex after all! Younger guys may want sex daily (if not more) but a lot depends on your desires, your living situations and lifestyles etc.

Also have a convo with him ahead of time about birth control. Are you going to use condoms every time or go on the pill/implant etc? That way it is one less thing to worry about if/when you are ready. How old are you two? Just remember no birth control means no sex... you don't want to be a mommy yet!
