Well, recording on your phone is fine. Its uploading anywhere that I have problem with. Not sure about apple, but google automatically backs up in cloud. I have disabled all. And hence would feel more comfortable with it.
In any case, I generally avoid shots with faces (i like my girl too much for taking any chances). Most of the time we end up with awkward clips and laugh at it at the end. Sometimes though, they can be REALLY hot.
