Today is for traveling.
We haven't had a family picture with all my siblings and mom since I was a boy. And we're to the four winds all over the country so getting together has always been difficult.
My mom's not well.
My wife suggested that instead of waiting for my mom to pass that we should make an effort to get together one more time while she's alive and we're happy.
So for five months we've been planning this, to surprise her on mother's day.
My oldest sister lives near my mom so she's going to invite my mom to lunch at her house.
Shortly after my next sibling is going to walk in, then the next and the next and the next and then me.
Potluck and Mother's Day surprise!
So travel today is in support of that.
