There is nothing to fix. The simple solution is to stop dating, being around, sleeping with, or having relationships with toxic people.

we aren’t toxic. i have insecurities that sometimes i can’t handle. and in relationships there is always room for growth. and i am trying to grow and get better.
Being in a relationship and talking about wanting to screw other people is toxic. What leaves the mouth comes from the heart. When you realise this, your life will become very peaceful because you will no longer entertain any of it.

You can also turn the tables on him, and say something like, 'Oh, that reminds me... I saw this guy yesterday, and he was so damn hot!', etc.

no he was saying an example so when he is explaining stuff he says an example and he does it with himself. and he’s not saying he’d do it it’s just an example of it

Look ofcourse he shouldn't say that infront of you rather keep it to himself neither should you say these things infront of him. Its human nature for both of you to get feelings for others doesn't mean you gonna act on it.
