  • I think a lot of that has to do with the fact that women's razors are shit. I had to use a girlfriend's razor on my face once and it was awful. I know people will say that women's skin and men's is different and I know this but I can tell you I got that girlfriend hooked on using a men's razor because I showed her how much better my razor was than hers by shaving my legs dry with it (I like my legs hairless, they look better in thigh highs that way... yes I swing both ways) She was totally amazed and even after we broke up she still uses a Harry's razor, but do also use some kind of skin conditioner when your shaving there, that skin is the most sensitive on your body and most likely to get irritated easily.

  • Razor bumps are common. I have found in that the old double edge razors are far less irritating and provide a closer shave than any cartridge on my face. Skill is needed to have the best outcome, but with some practice it's easy. Perhaps look into waxing or electrolysis for more permanent solutions.

  • Take the hottest shower you can stand and wash very well with an antibacterial soap. Be careful not to get it in your vag. Immediately after you shower, Shave with a good shaving soap (I use conditioner and it works great) and a very sharp razor. After you shave, back in the shower and re-wash the area you shaved with antibacterial soap being careful not to get it in your vag. Finish with a soothing salve.

  • Yeah… that’s an issue that can happen. Comes from having tough hair and sensitive skin. It helps if you exfoliate before and after shaving. Have you considered waxing? Hurts more but gives a better result and I’m pretty sure your boyfriend would be down for paying for it.

    • I tried waxing myself a few months ago hurt too much bled

    • Yeah, it is a pretty sensitive area after all. It’s easier if someone else can do it for you but depending on where you live those places are all closed down. Defiantly try an exfoliating cream. Personally I am saving up for laser hair removal. But I have really dark hair so I’m not sure if that would work as well for you.

    • So with laser hair removal it's gone permanently how much is that? I have very blonde public hair

  • I just leave stubble honestly, I can't shave anything at all or it gets really itchy and irritated

  • I met a girl years ago who told me the best way from getting bumps - I used to get rashes shaving my face - was to use hair conditioner. I tried it, it worked. Very smooth stuff so the razor just glides over your skin. Give it a try.

  • Try getting waxed.

  • My girlfriend liked it shaved.
    Quit girlfriend.

  • try different razor/shaving cream/epilating cream brands. i personally only get bumps when i have too little shaving cream, the razor is used up or i do it too rough and quickly.

  • My advice is take a warm bath. Get the area very warm and soapy, then shave carefully with your most comfortable razor. Wash it off then moisturize the area.

  • I'm a furry bastard with course hair and sensitive skin and could never shave every other day on a regular basis.

  • You have to shave everyday if you don't want the red bumps. Another thing you can use is nair. Also rub baby oil on your pelvis and vag after you shave

  • Just let your kitty heal and tell your boyfriend to deal with it. If he doesn't understand than he's an idiot.

  • If it's causing you pain or discomfort, I don't think you should shave. Your boyfriend will just have to put on his big boy pants and put your feelings first.

  • Let him shave it. 😎

  • Get a men’s razor. Moisturize, clean and exfoliate your skin beforehand. Shave in the tub so you can soak for a bit and soften the hair. Shave then after your bath, rub coconut oil on the shaved parts.

  • Use Nair Hair Removal. Read the instructions carefully!

  • Try trimming it really close without using a razor, maybe an electric razor or trimmer. That way you are not pulling the hair as you shave it or irritating the skin. Let me know how it works... ;)

  • Read up on it

  • Get a premium razor

  • Think the lady's had it coverd there, I did know a gal had laser removal but had real bad skin too but lots get it done just for the hair removal bit.

  • Not sure

  • Well just leave it. Trim it up. Explain to him why you don’t like it and what it does and he will understand. Or you could always wax.

  • Ever think of laser removal?
