How would you feel if your partner completely loaded up the dishwasher but didn't turn it on?

Wonder if they forgot- if they were saving room for more, waiting for the best time of day to run it?

If it’s his day or week and there’s more dishes to use, then I’ll just leave him to it.

If there’s not much dishes then maybe mention it to him or ask. Especially a day he seemed a bit busy. If he was stressed, I’d ask if he wanted me to turn it on.

Dishes is not really something to get pissy about… 👋😭👍

We've got a rolling portable dishwasher, so it both gets in the way and limits the use of the sink while its running, so this is pretty frequent in our house. We hook it up and run it just before bedtime.

OMG, that is not a loaded dishwasher, that's a half empty one! Seriously, those six bowls on top could go in one row. I'd re-stack it, adding another couple of meals worth of dishes and run it myself.

It would depend on why they did it. Maybe they are like me and wait for the water to heat up after rinsing. It's common to forget.

This happens all the time lmao. I'll go to empty it and just be like "hey, did you forget something?" Usually it's a oh shit... Sorry and ill put it on.

One time we left for the weekend... He said he put it on.. he did not. Had to run that through a couple times then a vinegar wash to get rid of the smell.

That's pretty normal, we snack so he prolly just didn't notice that he put in the last dish that will fit. I'll sit mine on the counter & start it. Mention so he checks next time it's getting full.

I usually do it by hand. Experience has shown me so far with two models I had that didn't work to well. If she did load it, I'd turn it on, no biggie.
