I am still a virgin at 19 and right now I feel like I am not ready for sex yet.
However I am quite embarrassed, because people have made fun of me for 'being a prude.'

One day my classmates and I were talking about relationships when suddenly the topic of our conversation changed to 'sex'.
I honestly told them I am still a virgin and they started to make snide comments.
Now I feel very bad about the fact I am still a virgin even though I feel like I am not ready yet to have sex.
My boyfriend lives 2 hours away for me so it is not always easy to meet up. Luckily he has patience (with me).

What should I do?
