The whole "Tinder is only a hookup app" thing is so outdated. Tons of people on that app want relationships and explicitly say they don't want hookups. I've met 3 of my past girlfriends off Tinder and my cousin met her husband on Tinder. Hookups happen there as much as they happen irl but not everyone there just wants to hookup.
