I was recorded on Omegle. I asked this question before, but I can't stop thinking about it. How do I get over it? I need to relax, what can I do?

Yesterday, my parents were out of the house shopping, and I decided to go on omegle. Things were going just fine, until I cam along someone who's screen was showing a yellow snake in a glass case with a baby chick inside as well. The person typed, "Show your tits to save the baby chick" I said no, and I said it wasn't real. Until the snake striked and wrapped itself around the poor baby chick. I offered to show my bra first, so I took a bra from my drawer and hung in infront of the camera. (by the way my face was not being showed) but apparently, he wanted to see me in a bra. So I sat down, and I was careful to make sure he didn't see my face, but I was wearing a night gown and nothing else except for a bra and an underwear. I pulled up my nightgown, and the video stops playing. He told me that he was recording the whole time, and he said that he'll post the video around places unless I showed him my boobs, then he'll delete. After that, my heart never stopped beating so fast, I feel so upset and my life is now over. It was all my fault, I wanted to see if he would take do something about the chick, and I felt like he was a nice person, and I was worried about the baby chick, and I trusted him, and now my I can't be calm. It was really stupid of me, and everybody before said that even if he does post it he'll go to jail because he's underage, but I didn't tell him my age, so how would he know? I don't know what to do please help me. Anyone who sees the video will know it's me because of my voice, room, clothes, body, and hair. I am terrified and in desperate need in help. "Just ignore it" I want to forget about it, but I think about it everyday. This is the stupidest thing I've ever done, and reaching out to strangers is even more stupid. I want to run to my mom and cry and tell her everything, but I can't. How do I get it out of me?

He also told me that he found my IP address and my home address, which I soon figured out that your IP address is actually visible on Omegle, along with a random ID. I have no idea what he did with the video or what he's going to do, every moment I'm distracted or having some fun, my mind always goes back to this stupid situation, and to be honest, it wasn't his fault. I showed him my body because I wanted to, and that was my choice, and It keeps me up at night and I just don't know what to do.

I’m feeling a little better, but now I know what it feels like to be really threatened. It just feels like it was all a bad dream, and the night it happened, I tried comforting myself by crying myself to sleep and saying that it never happened and I was manipulating myself, and it wasn’t his fault

  • First your not stupid! You made a mistake. Second talk to your mom about it see if there is a way to track him. Probably calling the police will help I'm sure they must have a way to track him.
