In Texas it seems abortion is being made illegal. This could spread to other states and maybe make abortions illegal all across the USA. I suppose women can go to Canada to terminate pregnancies if the US government tells us they are now in control of our bodies and not us. But for many, that is a LONG trip. So what is the future for sex?

A new Texas law that bans abortions after six weeks of pregnancy includes a $10,000 incentive that could fuel an anti-abortion economy in the state. According to the law, private citizens can sue anyone seen to be "aiding and abetting" an abortion — whether or not they have any personal connection to them. Anyone found to have advised, helped pay for, or given a ride to an abortion clinic is fair game, including teachers, parents, clergy, Uber drivers, and friends.

If the plaintiff wins the case, they could be awarded a minimum of $10,000, plus attorneys' fees. The defendant, on the other hand, would not qualify for legal fee relief, no matter the outcome of the case. In this way, the law incentivizes widespread prosecution, with no disincentive for baseless claims. In a statement Wednesday, President Joe Biden said the law "blatantly violates" Roe v. Wade, which gave national protection to abortions in 1973.

  • There is a protection

  • Women will forced to be responsible with their bodies. They won't have sex during their fertile times unless motherhood is acceptable for them at that point in time.

  • No way not now or ever

    • No butt sex?

  • Is the morning after pill available? Useful if there's any worry about bc failure - hole in the condom et cetera.

  • Yes for anal sex!

  • People will probably be a lot more careful who they have sex with and with their birth control and protection

  • People will still fuck and get backalley abortions or there will be a lot more kids in orphanages (or worse).

  • Women would have to start taking accountability for their choices and actions.

    • Not dudes?

    • Dudes are already held responsible. They are legally forced to pay for children they never wanted even if she doesn’t let him see the kid at all. But they also have zero ability to have a say in keeping a child he wants when a female chooses to kill it.

  • Woman can no longer kill the mans child in texas anymore

    • Now you can molest the child or murder the kid with your gun in Texas.

    • No those are crimes too

    • And lets be clear abortion has alwaye been about killing the mans child
