If you had a son would you have him circumsized as a baby or allow that to be his choice when he's older?
Also why do you think circumcision is more popular and do you think it has more to do with cosmetic reasons?

I think I'm going to have a really hard time picking an MHO... all the opinions from what I'm getting all seem really good and do have valid points

Yeah, I would have him circumcised.
Yeep a must since it is even a way of being clean.
Absolutely ridiculous comment. All it takes is regular bathing.
has nothing to do with keeping clean
if he gets circumcised what’s his motivation to keep his dick clean
Circumcised all three sons
His choice.
That would his personal choice when he grows up
circumcised as a baby
as a baby
No one would choose it it later life. It’s only popular in the US
I would have him circumcised as a baby.
I would get it circumcized as it would later sometimes lead to phimosis and circumcision after bein adult decreases flacid penis size
Its not only a possible good thing , but it could be a bad thing , id wait till age 12 before mentioning it , then ask if theyd like to be circumcised as it can stop infections from happening.
y'all who saying na to get they babey circumcised bra u make dem got no hoes in da future bruhhh
Slice him and dice him!
I had all mine circumcised when they were only a couple days old. The older you are when you have it done, the more painful it is.
mutilating a child is wrong
I don't know what the process involves exactly (a simple freezing and cut?), but I think if it's going to be done at all, it should be at birth. But don't really know why I feel that way? lol
As a baby. Best to uphold my end of the covenant with God.
So you are Jewish or Muslim?
Jewish
Then that is an understandable reason, in my opinion. I just wanted to make sure you weren't a Christian who missed the entire passage about not doing it unless they plan to follow the whole of the law.
Circumcision isn't part of Jewish Law; it is part of the covenant between us and God.
So, I understand that it is the covenant with God and that both Jewish and Muslim people still do it, outside of that it is only commonly practiced in the United States. My reference was to a new testament verse that basically says if you keep that covenant you need to follow the whole of the law: Galatians 5:3 And I testify again to every man who receives circumcision, that he is under obligation to keep the whole Law. Basically Christian doctrine is to not circumcise. But there are a lot of "Christians" in the US who have no idea that passages like this exist.
Well I am not Catholic; so I don't ascribe to the teachings of Paul.
Uncircumcised is best.
