If your girlfriend said that she wanted to not have sex anymore until marriage, would you stay with her?

Do your answer determine if you should really be with her? Does your answer determine if you really love her?

My boyfriend and I been together for almost 3 years. Before we met I was saving sex for marriage. Then I ended up not... lol. 2 years and a few months after a sexual relationship, I decided that I want to wait. - I have been a little back and forth through out relationship and it has been really hard wanting to wait and wanting to not. We both want to be with eachother forever...

  • Please don't tell me you suddenly stopping is because of that Christian ideology of "revirginazation".
For me personally I would leave in a heartbeat, what do you think changes when one gets married?
What you are doing is childish thinking, unless, you suddenly quitting sex is because of some medical reasons, then I might be okay with you, but if not then am outta the door the following day.

  • I will never get married to anyone for any reason because the institution has nothing to do with the love.

Also, for you to just change your mind pointlessly like that is pretty cruel. He deserves better.

  • I would wonder why she suddenly feels like this

  • Wow! Can I ask why the sudden change of heartb

  • Why wait now? You already had sex.

  • Yes. She is worth waiting for.

    • How long? Unconditionally, means no matter what? You don't know her personality. Maybe she is an asexual with some spikes here and there? Blowjob on Christmas/birthday only? Deal-breaker!

  • I would but I am a christian
My girlfriend didn't want to wait, but I gave her that option.
If she decided today she wanted to wait, I would be willing to wait.

  • You are mine give me something to vibe off of to know you worth the weight. Otherwise, leave.

  • Yes if he is good and well behaved. Coz sex is not everything.

  • No, that seems really wishy washy to me and I don't even want to be with a girl who has that kind of behavior

  • If she's worth it yes, but she still need to sit on my face at least for dessert

    • Ha ha, face-sitting lover. :D

  • Yes I don’t really like sex

  • Unless we were getting married in a week, No

    • Asexuals or spontanous-asexuals can really suck! :-)

  • Do you want to stop intercourse or all sex acts?

    • all of it, it has been emotionally hurting me partly because I have a hard time communicating with him

    • There are huge red flags here. I might consider it a dealbreaker and would recommend others do the same. Solving problems by simply shutting off part of your relationship is a huge warning sign about how you view sex. Also, if you have sex problems and communication problems and are getting emotionally hurt, “we will fix it when we are married” like... nobody should be getting married with those issues.

  • Not if I don’t want to get married or she better say I do in a few weeks because I can’t wait to long

  • I said yes but I would not a good reason tbh. Especially if we had already had sex before. I wouldn't wait until marriage if we never had sex though. That is something you need to know you are compatible with before hand in my opinion
