My unscientific male opinion.
*The sensitive length of your vagina is about 3" from the entrance.
*A longer dildo will give you a little more pleasure with each stroke but you can just stroke a little faster.
*A longer dildo will also reach farther in and will give you a full feeling but not give much more excitement.

*Having said this, I think this brush is all you need.

Its definetly more hygenic, as well as 100% safe to use. If used and cleaned correctly. It is designed to be used this way unlike other things.  Maybe an alternative would be using your fingers.

The texture is likely to be different and the flexibility. Most things around the house tend to be more rigid, although as you have probably found there is quite a range of different sizes and styles of hair brushes. The way to know really is to try one. Of course it will still not have the warmth and feel of a real dick, nor be attached to an enthusiastic owner...

If you get one that can be mounted on something then you can practice your riding skills, so that is a plus also. They are also designed to be easier to keep clean and it is less likely to get borrowed by someone to brush their hair.

There are a lot of advantages of having a proper dildo. The main one being that they made designed to be put into your body so they won't leach any weird chemicals into you. Variety in size, shape, and texture doesn't hurt either. But if you are shopping for your first toy I would suggest getting a simple vibrator.

Considering that some dildo's are made by using a literal penis (making a mold of it and then filling that mold with silicone) that is probably as close to a real penis you can get without using a real penis.

Everyone I know uses the handles of a hairbrush. If you look at the handles it becomes obvious that they were designed for women to use for other things.
