Gagers!
I know not many people are pro breastfeeding let alone extended one but here i am i want to know how people react to this and what are their opinions and what do they base them on as i personally do support it and i am all pro for it.Whats your take on Extended Breastfeeding as it is becoming pretty common these days.
There are many mums out there who are doing it for couple years and upto 5 years too.
There are some who are doing it even upto 10 years and i have read in paper or magazines that in some cases mums take it upto 15 years too but thats rare though.I appreciate your time and opinions and for those who do not like this please dont get all angry and if not simply ignore and move along.
Is extended breastfeeding acceptable?

Sorry guys i couldn't get online due to some work Anyways thanks all of u for ur opinions but i am quite shocked to see the end results tbh because initially i was happy to see that most people were in favour of it but now i can see most people are against extended breastfeeding and tbh i did not see any sound arguments for their opinion

What Girls & Guys Said
33 74It's all upto an individual, their phsyical health, the job type all these quotients play a role. Many females find it difficult to express milk, which is frustating as well. But all PRO for it... Feed for life and not some dumb peekers and negative attitude folks
yup absolutely true n thanks for beautiful opinion honey
Toddlers should be weaned off the breast by about two years old, if they don't wean themselves off sooner naturally.
Kids and moms can still bond with holding, cuddle-time, etc. , so that is pretty much a non-issue.
I have just seen too many of these situations where it seems that the mom is just after the notoriety and supposed "shock value" of a teen pulling teat!
And I am a Massage Therapist, so I have seen just about anything there is to see, so that isn't an issue with me. : - )
Thanks for sharing darling but there are still benefits after 2 though
I could think of a benefit for me, and I'm well into Medicare age. :- ) I can certainly see the continuing benefits, it's just these "shock jocks" that want to sexualize a very natural happening for mammals!
Well its never anything sexual when it comes to ur own kids darling
I honestly dont know enough about it to have an opinion.. I know i have a bad answer here, but im just ill informed.
Thank you for not imparting judgment upon something you haven’t researched. ☺️
Aww u r soo cute But thanks, maybe u can learn a little by reading here about it
i plan to. The only thing i know for sure, Breast feeding, assuming the mother is not on drugs, or cigarettes, or alcohol, is Way better than formula. but that's where my knowledge ends.
U r right darling
That is mostly accurate. However very little alcohol gets into the Breastmilk. Even if a mother is legally drunk, her milk still has less alcohol content than Orange juice. The more you know. :)
@loves2learn thats is new for me too hehe Thanks
This is my favorite article on the subject: evolutionaryparenting.com/.../
Misinformation abounds on this topic.
@loves2learn i think everyone should go through this
Yes, I think it's acceptable up until the child is 5-6 at most. Older than that... it seems weird.
Mind suggesting why it would be weird after that
I wish I couldve been breastfed till I was 15 but I was the last child to taste my mums breast so I think she may have stopped when I was 3 years old, I honestly couldnt remember.
I think its weird that mums continue to feed till 15, but it depends on the mum I guess and how she feels about it, if the kids still demand it then it's their call really. As long as she has a steady supple of milk and her nipples are in good condition, then I say cool, go for it, it's accaptable to me.
Yea thats how it should be N thanks
As long as you keep orgasming
Orgasming from breastfeeding ur kids? I dont think u are going to find a single mum saying that honey
Yeah, I think many women stop breastfeeding too early. That doesn't mean you should go till they're 15, but breastfeeding a few years at least seems like a good idea and probably very healthy. For both mother and child
Yea all the research shows its healthy for both mum n the children
I 100% agree. It is very healthy for both the mother and child. Most children will self wean between the ages of 2-7. Outliers might be 10. Very rare to go past that.
Yeah, I think going at least until they self-wean makes a lot of sense. There might be a time when it makes sense to wean them yourself, especially if you're going to have more kids. I do wonder how it would affect someone psychologically if they were nursing past the age of five though
@loves2learn yea u r right honey
My older son self weaned when I was 4 months pregnant with his brother. My milk changed and he decided to be done. There were a few times when he saw friends breastfeeding and wanted to try it. I wish I had let him, but I was terrified my husband would be livid if I picked it back up with him.
@loves2learn how old was he?
@loves2learn aww yea i think u should have let him
@grond21 he was 3 years 4 months.
He asked again throughout his 4th year, watching his brother nurse and seeing friends nurse.
I could see letting him start up again
I have met few mums who did it upto 5 n 6 years n they were absolutely happy n ok about it
I know one who did it up to five years and she and her child turned out fine. So I'm not inherently opposed to it. But anything beyond that seems to get a bit sketchy for me
I wish I had let him start up again. Hind sight is 20/20.
I guess you can do that for your next kid
This baby factory is closed. Love the kids I have so much though. 🥰
Ahh. I see. And I am sure you do!
I am fir ut bc of breast cancer and calmness and health reasons... i have bug breasts but do it at home only not in public and can still breast feed my kids... thanks for posting
I adore u for that coz this is one of the best things a mum can give to her kids
@singlebimom love it. 🥰
While I wouldn't ban it, I don't think it's normal or healthy. Especially if you take it to Lysa/Robin Arryn levels.
it is always healthy
If doctors say it's ok who cares what others think?
They r absolutely fine honey
100%
@loves2learn oh hey sweetie how have u been
@elizamichale1 heyyy. Been busy but good. You? :) Titty hugs!
I'm sorry, but that's weird. I feel like if they can eat solid food then they should be eating solid food.
@jamie05rhs they do start eating solid food gradually at 6 months. Breastfeeding is SO MUCH more than nutrition. It’s and incredibly special relationship and bond between mother and child.
My kids were eating meals with the family at a year and still breastfeeding at wake and sleep times. Breastfed kids manage emotions and transitions at the breast.
Okay. Well, I'll defer to you on this one. Since you're a mother and I'm not lol.
@jamie05rhs thank you. ❤️ It’s a passion of mine to educate people about breastfeeding if you couldn’t tell. There is a lot of misinformation out there. :)
@loves2learn I didn't know that. That's cool!
@jamie05rhs I’m usually pretty moderate in general, so this is one thing that I’m very passionate and vocal about.
Cool. :). I guess I'm naturally moderate on the issue since I have neither breasts nor children.
But nothing compares to the benifits of mother's milk
@elizamichale1 I understand.
Thanks
You're welcome!
😘😘
:) .
I don't know all the science behind it. I just feel breast feeding after 18 months is too long. A calf doesn't feed off an utter when its after infancy why should human
Try differentiating between a calf n a human honey
Just saying a baby is fed by mothers milk. By 18months that baby should have teeth and eating whole foods. No reason to breastfeed after that. Unless you are super healthy you are losing a lot of nutrients in your body and bones just to keep producing milk for a toddler. You are a free person do what you want with your child. You ask the question I stated an opinion
@trudrew88 that’s what’s so wonderful. They eat meals with the family and breastfeed in between. Weaning by definition is a slow process, not a sudden stop. :)
@loves2learn lol I know that. I have 2 boys my wife didn't wake up one day and say no more boob. They were weaned off. My wife actually is not blessed in breastfeeding department. She can do it and has enough supply for her child but after 12 months her supply starts to get less and less anyway. Our first child she was still working so she couldn't pump like she was suppose to so she dried up after 6months. Our second son she's was committed and her supply went dry after 14 months. So those who can go longer that's a blessing. All I'm saying they should be being weaned off after 18 months. Yes not a cold Turkey process but it's not a 36 month process either.
@trudrew88 good for your wife. That’s a great accomplishment. I also worked and pumped for my babies. For us weaning was a 40 month and 48 month journey respectively.
Well bless your wife And i dont know why she couldn't produce more but otherwise its healthy for both mum n child darling N thanks for your opinion
No wonder I have such a fixation on boobs, lol.
Awww! Did your mother breastfeed you past infancy? ❤️❤️
@loves2learn No, lol. I was just being a wise ass. 😂
You are a wise ass. Lol
@loves2learn lol. I couldn't resist.
Cheeky 😋😋
I love that word.
😋😋
I don't know i always feel jealous from those kids 😂
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=oNbrKJ_nVZs
I loved that scene! I felt validated.
There is no need. It’s their mother so no need to think incestuously and turn it into something vile.
Hehe cheeky N yea thats what my brother showed me in support
@Sarahr123 oh well ofcourse its nothing about incest n all its just the connection between mum n child
@loves2learn haha glad i could help! 😂😂😜😜
@Sarahr123 trust me it has nothing to do with incest lmfao 😂🤣🤣🤣
@elizamichale2 haha thanks! 😂
Yup absolutely no incest in this 😊😊😘
That is unfortunate... Hopefully more people will get out of this religious conservative brainwashing
Oh i desperately wish so
@elizamichale i do too sweetheart i do too!
Goshhhh... if we could bring a little change
Yeah I’m still on the tit.
N thats great hehe
Lol.
@loves2learn 😋😋
🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤
I don't really have an opinion on it. But I was surprised when you said "a lot of people are not prp breastfeeding." Is that true? And do I understand you correctly? Are there really a decent number of people out there who don't think people should breastfeed at all?
Oh yes there are quite a lot darling n it never makes sense why
There is a lot of people that are not against breastfeeding but they make big noise about breastfeeding in public as if it is not natural. They are used to the female body being seen as a sexual and don’t understand what boobs were meant for.
@likelyOK yeah right on spot i have had many such experiences
That’s a turn off but I believe it should be up to 6 months or 8 months maximum 1 year only and breastfeeding is not fun in any way.
Turn off? Really? Well no its not fun its not even supposed to... its just bond darling
How is breastfeeding a turn off? I am sorry breastfeeding was not enjoyable for you. I had an incredible bonding experience breastfeeding my sons.
@elizamichale1 I was saying that women that exposes their tits publicly without covering it with something at least is a turn off. We see things differently you find it okay & I see it the other way around. 👍🏻 Also I was saying a turn off to me because after 1 year maximum I won’t keep breastfeeding even tho I know all the facts of mothers milk to a baby’s & mother’s health yet my opinion won’t change regarding this. Once the baby starts eating, breastfeeding is over in my book and there are many other replaceable things for it. @loves2learn thanks. Hope you and your kids stay healthy and safe 👍🏻 All opinions are okay and respected 👋🏻
@sugar_7 you do what works for you. My kids got hot and cranky under the cover. If people don’t want to see it they can just not look. Also, I don’t care if it’s a turn off. My husband loved my big milk filled tits and that is all that matters to me.
@loves2learn Best of luck on your life
@sugar_7 ditto
@loves2learn n one of the ever best experiences a woman can have
@elizamichale1 it truly is. 🥰
@loves2learn yup😊😊
Lol I love these polls for obvious reasons. Nah either way eventually that boy or girl will grow out of it themselves. Whatever floats your boat.
Yeah, thanks for the opinion
Awww. So true. Thanks for the support.
@loves2learn 😊😊
You might want to check my profile because I have a similar question on my GaG question.
And my best friend breastfed her son until he was 3 years old.
N i think she did great But why did she stop though
Nothing wrong with breastfeeding.
Absolutely not It is actually one of the most beautiful things to do tbh
Hell yeah it is. Just like a womans body. Free the nipple!! 😜
Hehe i would definitely support that
I also support breast cancer research. Too many men and women die from it. Save the tatas!! 😁
Hehe cheeky just coz so u could play with tits huhh
I usually caress the breasts, scratch my balls, and play with the clit. 😜😂
I totally get that lol
@commodorreii thanks for the titty love lol
@loves2learn 😋😋🥰🥰
@loves2learn and @elizamichale1 *blush*
