Yeah, exactly! I mean, wet and damp material in general breeds bacteria and fungus (hence why one should never leave wet towels on the floor) and then having it so close to the genital area is asking for problems. Tbh, I think girls are told more often because we are more susceptible to UTIs than guys are... but it is still bad for them nonetheless.
