  • Nobody can answer whether or not it is important for you. Some people feel like it's very important.

I don't think that it's important in the grand scheme of things. I say this because most people that I have talked to do not have any great attachment to memories of their first time. We remember how it happened but it quickly becomes meaningless with experience.

The most likely way that it will have a big impact in your life is if it is a horrendous ordeal. In most cases that will not be true. In most cases it will be awkward at worst and you'll just go on to laugh about it but won't really treasure that memory.

  • so I've actually had quite the though about this and in a nutshell virginity goes both ways in the end of the day your first time will inexperienced awkward but it'll be sex nonetheless so my suggestion is that your first be fun and exciting but safe of course and most importantly consensual :) but in other cases for other people it's something sacred that they're willing to wait till that special someone in the end of the day you do what you believe in because it's YOUR life

  • to me sex is about being with someone special, someone who you're comfortable with... if you have sex with someone who doesn't value you for you, it will feel forced and probably less exciting. Making love with someone is about being yourself and respecting each other. You'll know it at that moment if the person you're getting naked with is special to you or not. For some it doesn't matter, but I find it better to be able to give myself to someone I trust, respect and above all love.

  • I always like to put it this way when I'm talking to someone who is eager to loose their virginity.
"You're really lucky to have the ability to choose who is goes to. There are those who had that chance ripped away from them imagine how they would feel knowing that you are willing to throw around yours without a care in the world."

  • honestly some people don't care, some care bit want something to either brag or feel accomplished about, some want to wait and some just want to know that they can trust and truly love the person they want to lose it to seeing as they are worthy of it.

  • For me yes.

  • I don't know. So it feels good and is memorable?

  • to me it is. i want to lose it when i'm in a committed relationship, not a one night stand at a party

  • Well it's not important, but if it goes negatively it may affect how you see sex, or at least make you regret it.

  • Yes, it's

  • Yes it is but as many can attest feelings can change.

  • That's individual. For me it isn't.

  • I don't even remember my first time, so no I wouldn't say it matters.

  • It is too me

  • Not really. Unless it's marriage or something.

  • Yes, it is. My intimate time is something special. Many people don't find it special. They don't find themselves special. I'm not saying I'm perfect, but I cherish my time. I will remember it for many years because the person I'm with is special to me.

  • yeah i think so

  • doesn't matter

  • Honestly i hate how a lot of people just look at sex as just some kind of activity that you perform just for the heck of it. Just my opinion.
