Sexual Health Is it okay to send nudes?

Personally, I am young and think it is very much okay (if it is your choice and you have not been pressured). I think being strongly against nudes sends the wrong message that you should hide your body. I understand that once you send a picture like that, it can't be unsent, and it could get in anyone's hands, but why should we be so ashamed of people seeing our bodies? It's our choice and I'm sick of feeling guilty. Does anyone agree with me?

I think its ok to send nudes that not a problem...
I am as long as its consenting and legal between the 2 sharing nudes. Since sending nudes as a minor to say a adult or another minor is a pretty risky area legal and repercussions wise.
before you send please consider the kind of future you want to lead and if you would care if someone spread those around your network of people. being that intimate with someone is great, but if you don't trust them to keep the pics between the two of you, don't send them.
You seem to be a really young girl who does not know how the world exactly is. It's not about being ashamed or something but there are lot of creepy people out there who can misuse your pictures. You may not regret it now but trust me at one point you might regret. And what message do you want to send people by sending nudes? If you are happy with your body be happy you don't need to send nudes for that!
I don't recommend sending pictures of yourself while being a minor, but at least don't put your face on it. I love to send body/dick pictures (if they are open to seeing it of course), so I know what you mean.
Also you need to take into consideration the difference between men and women. Sharing a dick pic you received among other people isn't a big deal. It's funny for a bit then whatever. Sharing a nude picture of a girl is a pretty big deal. It may last for much longer. Sharing it with someone in real life that's close is a double edged sword. Yes they are more trustworthy, but it's also not anonymous. You could share it to strangers and they'd never know who it is so you'd be pretty safe there (which is why I do it), but then again a stranger liking the picture is not nearly as nice as someone you are in a relationship with.
